Why we build GeoVerto
Spatial data moves between Google Earth, GIS, CAD, spreadsheets and public-sector systems every day. During those hand-offs, a coordinate-system label, attribute or geometry can be lost without an obvious error. GeoVerto is designed to make that transition inspectable: understand the file, identify risks, then convert it.
Principles behind the product
Inspect before converting
Coordinate systems, layers, fields, geometry and likely output losses should be visible before a conversion is started.
Describe what actually runs
Format capabilities and operational limits should come from the running service. Unsupported cases belong in the documentation too.
Use open, verifiable tools
GDAL/OGR, PROJ and GEOS make the processing understandable and reproducible in established GIS software.
Operate in Germany
GeoVerto is built for practical exchange between GIS, CAD, spreadsheets, Google Earth and German public-sector datasets.
Who operates GeoVerto
GeoVerto is a product of V-Commerce GmbH, based in 48366 Laer and represented by Matthias Alfert. The complete legally binding operator details are in the German imprint.
Domain background
GeoVerto grew from the need to move data used in surveying, planning and energy projects between tools without hiding format constraints. Typical examples include UTM zones 32 and 33, legacy Gauss–Krüger data, Shapefile field-name limits and DXF drawings without a CRS.
The English guides explain these cases with checks that can be repeated in other GIS software.
The software foundation
GeoVerto builds on established open-source components. The conversion and coordinate transformation results can therefore be checked with the same libraries used by QGIS and many spatial-data services.

Evidence before marketing claims
GeoVerto does not publish invented customer logos, testimonials or performance figures. Public case studies will appear only when a customer has agreed to a named, verifiable account. Until then, the product pages describe the behaviour that can be inspected in the service itself.
