Convert XLSX to KML
Place spreadsheet rows on Google Earth without first exporting and hand-editing a CSV file.
Upload one .xlsx file.
How this conversion works
The workbook is read as a table, spatial rows are built from coordinate or WKT columns, then transformed from the selected source CRS to WGS 84 KML.
Excel cells become an intermediate table before spatial conversion. Coordinates still need identifiable columns, and formulas are read as their stored cell values rather than executed on the server.
What the KML result contains
KML is written in WGS 84 for Google Earth. You can map suitable attributes to the visible placemark name and description; other attributes remain ExtendedData where supported.
Check before you use the result
- Only stored cell values are read; server-side conversion does not recalculate workbook formulas.
- Merged cells, charts and formatting are presentation, not feature geometry, and are not carried into KML.
GeoVerto reports the detected format, feature count and coordinate-system evidence before starting the job. Treat a low-confidence or missing CRS as a data question to resolve, not a value the converter should silently guess.
