Convert CSV to GeoJSON
Create a browser-ready FeatureCollection from a flat table while retaining the non-spatial columns as feature properties.
Upload one .csv,.tsv file.
How this conversion works
Coordinate or WKT columns supply geometry, the remaining columns become properties, and the result is transformed to WGS 84 for standards-compliant GeoJSON.
CSV has no native geometry or CRS. Spatial conversion depends on coordinate columns (longitude/latitude or easting/northing) or a WKT geometry column and on the correct source CRS.
What the GeoJSON result contains
GeoJSON is written in WGS 84 by default for reliable use in browsers and web-mapping libraries. Geometry and properties share one FeatureCollection.
Check before you use the result
- A table without coordinate or WKT geometry columns cannot produce spatial GeoJSON.
- CSV values have limited type information, so check numbers, dates and leading zeroes in the result.
GeoVerto reports the detected format, feature count and coordinate-system evidence before starting the job. Treat a low-confidence or missing CRS as a data question to resolve, not a value the converter should silently guess.
