How this conversion works
GeoVerto takes the GPX waypoint layer and writes each waypoint as a GeoJSON point with supported properties.
GPX has distinct layers for waypoints, routes and tracks and only a small fixed attribute vocabulary. It has no polygon representation.
What the GeoJSON result contains
GeoJSON is written in WGS 84 by default for reliable use in browsers and web-mapping libraries. Geometry and properties share one FeatureCollection.
Check before you use the result
- The dedicated export uses waypoints; routes and tracks are not silently flattened into a point cloud.
- Choose GPX to KML when line-based route or track content is the part you need.
GeoVerto reports the detected format, feature count and coordinate-system evidence before starting the job. Treat a low-confidence or missing CRS as a data question to resolve, not a value the converter should silently guess.
